Goddess Emerging

This bowl is one of the most important artifacts representing this group’s growing faith. It is dedicated to the aspiration that once again woman can reclaim equal status within society. As these city states have emerged out of the chaos of earlier strife women have again become marginalized and repressed. They are no more than property! Without power and without voice. This growing faith seeks to give women the strength and fortitude to journey on towards their ultimate goal and this bowl helps them focus their energy towards its realization. They believe that woman holds the key to a world reunited in equality and harmony. The bowls imagery of the powerful Goddess emerging out of its constraints symbolizes their determination
to once again be free from bondage.
